In 1965 the company started with honey fractioning, reaching a huge market share of big supermarket chains with more than 25 brands and variety of presentations.

Tapping the success on the domestic market, in 1990 Melar started exporting fractioning honey to Europe and Asia on behalf of the brand “Aquel Viejo Cosaco”.

By launching the company to the international commerce we took our first steps on importing our products to more than 50 countries, some of them hard to find in our country.

At present, Melar S.A. continues with its familiar job culture, while it keeps caring for the important professionalization process on every area of the company and that will contribute to consolidate it growth and positioning itself as the company with the major variety of Alimentary supplies, spices and vegetable seasonings at the best price in the Argentinean market.
